Terri 3

Ok, so how exactly does Terri 3 work?  I've heard someone say that you have to attack the kaiju with her in you party to get the Terri drop, but as far as the most damage does it count only the attacks while she is in your party or all of them as long as she was in your party at some point when you attacked the kaiju?
